My practice is situated in North Holmwood, Dorking, Surrey
I offer a free 30-minute consultation. We will begin introducing ourselves. I will ask you what brought you to counselling, your hopes and your goals. I will tell you a bit about how I work and confidentiality information. I will also ask you to fill out a few pieces of paper work.
After our initial consultation, we will meet for our first assessment session to find out more about you and gain some background and any history. We will then meet weekly or fortnightly to create a consistent therapeutic space for you. We will review our work goals and how you feel as we go along.

Every journey in therapy is different and we will unpick what has led you to be in the therapy room with me.
I recommend a minimum of 6 sessions together although I encourage clients to continue for longer.

My sessions are 50 minutes long, and our sessions can be weekly or fortnightly
It can be difficult opening to anyone about how we are feeling and what has caused them to get to this point.
If the therapy leads to naturally bringing another individual in, it is common practice to stick to the individual client. I will discuss individual circumstances, as sometimes it is necessary to have a one-off session with someone else.
I recommend a minimum of 6 sessions. There is no limit, however we will regularly evaluate your mood and goals to ensure we have a focus on our therapeutic journey.
All information you share is confidential to me in the session. I will make notes during the session to refer back to if necessary, and dependent on the situation, I will update my database with a summary of each session.
During the consultation, I will make you aware of my confidential practice.
I am very grateful for the sessions I had with Claire and the positive impact it has made going forward. I found weekly session with Claire really helped me by giving me a comforting space to talk about my anxiety and motivation issues, things that I found very difficult to express. She gave me lots of ideas and suggestions that I found very useful, and helped get me into a proactive daily routine which led to me getting a job shortly after - something that I had almost given up on. I found it very easy and calming to talk to Claire, who always gave me a lot to think about and reflect upon between sessions.
I really enjoyed my therapy with Claire, I got so much more than I was expecting. I enjoyed the sessions, Claire gave me lots more tools and helped to process better and in a much more healthier way, I was amazed how practical everything felt and made everything so much better.
